Nusa Dua is Bali's top-end resort offering a luxury that is completely isolated from the everyday realities of life. This exclusive tourist enclave has been planned with advice from World Bank tourism experts. The three kilometre shore line of the beach is lined with some of the most luxurious vacation rentals though there is no dearth of budgeted vacation villas either.
There is a lovely seaside park and a great bird watching area on the beach. The best surfing in Nusa Dua is on the reef to the north and south of the two 'isalnds'. For diving, parasailing, jet-skiing and water-skiing visitors can head to the nearby Tanjung Benoa. Nusa Dua is a market-free and hawker-free zone but there are good shopping stores and souvenir shops on the periphery and especially along JI Pantai Peminge.
The vacation rentals in Nusa Dua are idyllically located and offer panoramic views of the ocean front and the vast expanse of the rice terrains. Ranging from one bedroom to five bedrooms or more, these vacation rental villas offer all modern facilities to make your stay a comfortable one.
Within Nusa Dua you can dine in the various hotels and in the eateries in the Galleria Centre. There is a restaurant strip along JI Peminge with several reasonably priced eateries that serve a wide range of Balinese, seafood, European and Mexican dishes. There are also some very good restaurants in Tanjung Benoa, a few minutes drive away.
